VAMI

The VAMI (Value Added Monthly Index) is an industry measure of trading performance. The index tracks the monthly trading performance of a hypothetical $1,000 investment. It takes into account the trading profit and lost, income, dividends and costs for your portfolio.

Share Trade Tracker includes a VAMI chart and data table to provide a visual display of the monthly performance and within the data table the actual calculations are listed for further analysis and understanding. If needed you can set the Starting Investment Amount to be any value and the index calculation will start from that value. Use the Filter to display the VAMI for a specific Portfolio or a group of Portfolios.
